Howdy,

I just ran into this post purely by chance while searching for cat tree pics, when I came across that wonderful half and half face. My wife and I just got done house sitting for a friend that has a similar looking cat with a similar looking face. This cat also has a short tail with a crooked (almost curled) end. Your cat's appearance as well as her name made we wonder if she might have been blessed with a similar tail. Before our friend's cat we had never seen such a cat, and now to run into your's here, I just thought that was so cool.

Anyway, just wondering. Thanks. :)

Awwww! I love this story. Toby is such a special puppy. Rose and Bill did a fabulous job with him. They put a lot of work and love into him. Every time I saw Toby he started to come out of his shell a little more. And Kudos to Vicki (Bobbi and the Strays volunteer), who fostered (and later adopted) Lea, Toby's identical sister =) I saw her at the park last week and she is doing great as well!

What an amazing story--it really is an action movie! I can hardly believe the skinny Jethro and the healthy Jethro are the same dog. Stories like this make it all worthwhile ~ thanks for posting!

Hi Heidi! Olivia is so beautiful! I'm glad I came to the blog as you suggested to read about her...and I get to see her with my favorite boy Puccini! Obviously he loves her very, very much. I also love the photo of your whole furry family (well, almost the whole family) on the bed. What an amazing group of gorgeous companions you have. It was so nice talking with you on friday at Atlas and especially hearing all the wonderful news about my heartthrob Puccini. I just couldn't be happier for him. Thanks for everything that you do and all the love you give. Big hugs! Shannah

All of the dogs in the group photo were from Bobbi with the exception of the little one yawning on the left, whom we found wandering the streets, and the big girl in the middle who we've had since she was nine weeks old and will soon be 14.

Elmo, who is currently in the Guardian Program, is the large Pug on the bottom step. He had acute pancreatitis when he joined us and only weighed about 20 pounds when this photo was taken, much too thin for a dog his size. If you look at his Guardian Profile photo you will see how much more handsome he's become on his special diet and with lots of love.

Even if you can't have a dog or cat where you live, you can still make a difference and help a dog or cat in need by joining the Guardian Program or making a donation.

Thank you for caring.
