If you shop on-line at your favorite retailers through www.GoodShop.com, those retailers will donate up to 30% of your purchase price to Bobbi and the Strays!  And best yet – THE DONATION WILL NOT COST YOU A THING!

 

There are over 1,000 retailers who participate and they include: eBay, Amazon,com, Petco, BestBuy, HSN, Macy’s, Toys R Us, Barnes & Noble, Target, GAP, Sears, Kohl’s…

 

Just go to www.GoodShop.com, select “Bobbi and the Strays” under “who do you good search for” before you shop, and then click through to the various retailers and go shopping!  (Just make sure you always start at GoodShop.com and have Bobbi and the Strays chosen before clicking through to retailers.)

Your company Donates to us?

More and more companies – even smaller ones – are donating to charities.  Many, in order to encourage their employees to donate to charity, even have Matching Gift programs where your employer “matches” your own donation, thereby doubling your gift to our homeless dogs and cats.  Some employers will even “double-match” your donation thereby tripling the impact of your original donation. 

 

Before you donate to Bobbi and the Strays, please be sure to check with your Human Resources department or your Office Manager to see if your company has a Matching Gift Program.  If it does be sure to follow your company’s guidelines when making a donation to increase your impact to Bobbi and the Strays.

 

If your company requires an application to be completed by us, or other documentation, please just contact us.  We would love to be included in any of your company’s charitable campaigns. 

 

Federal & State Employees

Federal Employees can participate in the annual Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which runs from September 1 through December 15.  Just locate the Bobbi and the Strays section in your CFC materials.  Many states now also conduct their own annual government employee campaigns – please check to see if Bobbi and the Strays is included in those charities from which to select.  If not – let us know how we may be included.

 

United Way

Many companies hold United Way fund-drives.  Through the United Way’s “Donor Option” program, you can now select Bobbi and the Strays as the beneficiary of your United Way gifts – please remember to write Bobbi and the Strays in as your choice.  (Since procedures vary with each local or regional campaign, please check with your workplace coordinator to make sure that you write your choice in correctly.) Many employers will also match your United Way donations and usually donations taken from your paycheck are not taxed.

Did you know that you can help Bobbi and the Strays FOR FREE?  It’s true.  And it is something that you probably do almost every day anyway. 

  

Use GoodSearch.com as your search engine every time you search the web.

For every search you conduct using www.GoodSearch.com - Bobbi and the Strays receives cash. It is absolutely free for you to use, is powered by Yahoo, and we receive more then a penny per search.  And those pennies can really add up!  

 

Just be sure to select “Bobbi and the Strays” under “who do you good search for” before you search so that your searches count!  Once you choose this option on your computer, unless you delete your cookies, Bobbi and the Strays should remain the charity of your choice – just be sure to check. : – )

Help Change the World!!!

Do you have a bit of time to spare? Need some charity experience to add to your resume? Like interacting with the public? Have great computer skills?  Would you be willing to utilize your creative skills to help? Need something to keep your kids busy during weekends or the summer months?

There are countless ways that you or someone you know can help Bobbi and the Strays rescue, care for, and find loving homes for countless dogs and cats. We are always in need of some great volunteers! In fact, without our volunteers, their compassion and dedication, and the many various ways they help our organization, Bobbi and the Strays would not even exist.  
 
If you, your children, friends, family, co-workers – anyone who loves animals really – want to find out more about some of the many ways to volunteer for Bobbi and the Strays please visit our website.
 
If you are a Professional or Business-Owner – there may have been ways to help that you had not even thought of too! How about sponsoring an Adoption or Fund-raising Event? You can even donate your professional or business services.
 
For children and young adults - volunteering can be a very rewarding learning experience that teaches respect, team-work, customer service, the proper way to handle and care for dogs and cats, and a bit more about the non-profit and animal related world. Children can help with special projects such as fund-raising drives, creating & handing out fliers, even helping at street-fairs – just to name a few. If your children are 16 years or older they can also volunteer at our shelter or adoption center where they can interact directly with our dogs & cats, as well as with the public.
